Understanding the Beautiful Complexity of Our Universe

“As long as our brain is a mystery, the universe, the reflection of the structure of the brain will also be a mystery.”→ Santiago Ramón y Cajal

“There are no extra pieces in the universe. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill, and every piece must fit itself into the big jigsaw puzzle.” → Deepak Chopra

Understanding the Beautiful Complexity of Our Universe:

“We begin our journey in the world of the small. Basic particles are really really tiny. For a long time, people thought these particles had no size at all. But then along came quantum mechanics which proves it is impossible for anything real to have a size of zero. Today we know that fundamental particles have a real size, called a Planck Length…named after Hall of Fame physicist, Max Planck, Now a Planck Length is so small it is hard to imagine, much less to describe. (But that won’t keep us from trying)”

“From dogstars to dog stars (show lassie), from diamonds to diamondbacks, All normal matter in the universe is made from electrons and two other tiny little guys called quarks. Put those three thing together; let them interact, and you get all of the incredible complexity that makes the universe such an interesting place. But how does that happen? How go you get somebody like Leonardo DaVinci from mixing just three different particles? How do you go from such simplicity to such incredible complexity? Let me take you on a journey, and together we just might figure it out. Surely along the way we will probe life…consciousness…and the inner workings of the human brain…and just maybe uncover a few surprises.”

  1. because of all diseases i don't belivie every electron is same. Then if someone had a cancer, would it have "diseased" electrons? what makes things different if all what we are made of is the same?

  2. Isn’t it a bit presumptuous to assume the human brain is the most complicated structure in the universe? I think we might be showing our bias a little.

  3. A love our universe so much, we are so lucky to have a planet like the earth the change of life is so so so small but we are alive and we have this awesome planet so we should protect it!

  4. My nightly search to appease – nay, sate the clamour of a hungry mind was fleetingly answered by a wind of 43 minutes of pure brain enlightenment. A thumbs up for this entertaining video.

  5. The art of mainstream science has to do with keeping a monopoly, and selling us a lie about our universe keeping us in a zombie state to do the bidding of the wicked. Obviously before I was born here on the planet earth there were parasitic entities trying to emulate life by manipulating it making a counterfeit system being a degrading clone that is unsustainable that will crash being crushed because it don't add up. So it won't be manageable not being able to tie up the loose ends being corrupted from its foundations. Where the foundations of the universe are eternal no matter how the wicked tried to corrupt it to possess it for themselves.
